Donating YT 30K Club Member | My girlfriends Cavalier had that this past winter. I went with her to the vet and they did the surgery that day and we went back in 4 hours and picked her up. She was fine afterwards and has had no further problems. She did have the surgery done by an eye specialist and it cost about 800.00. I will keep your baby in my prayers for a safe surgery.

| An entropian is when eye lid turns inward and causes the eyelashes to rub the eye. That is where the irritation comes from. The doc usually just removes the eyelashes that cause the problem. I hope your baby feels better.

| Have you contacted the breeder? This is a hereditary condition and you might have a guarantee that covers it. Entropion is corrected surgically. If possible it is best to delay surgery until the dog is an adult since the involved facial structures are still growing and changing. More than 1 operation may be required. It is better to correct the entropion conservatively and repeat the operation later if necessary, than to overcorrect causing ectropion. |
