| Fishy!!! i have 9 month old old yorkie named henry and just lately he has had really bad FISHY breath. i brush his teeth once a day, and give him breath treats and nothing is working. isn't he done teething? his breath shouldn't be bad from that anymore should it? |

| Yes he should be done teething. does he have any retained baby teeth? it could also be the food you're feeding him(or so i've been told)

| i don't think it's his food because the food he is on he's been on since he was a baby. |

| so if he still has a baby tooth in there that may be the reason? how can i tell? or do i have to take him to the vet? |

| You should see teeth doubled up at this age if he has retained any baby teeth. The baby tooth is usually the one on the outside. This could definitely cause bad breath. I don't know about a fishy smell though. |
