| My baby got stung! OWW! This past weekend I went to my parent's in Denver and as we were unloading the car and heading inside, Lily got stung on the paw by a bee! YOWCH! My mom called her vet, and he recommended giving her Benadryl and applying ice. Within the hour she was back to normal. I was surprised that Lily let me hold ice on her paw - must've felt good. Anyone else ever have their Yorkie get stung?

| ceeby has been stung twice within the past two weeks. Once he was sniffing a bee that had lit on the grass and it got him right on the jaw. No way could I get the benadryl down him but hw was alright before too long. Then just about three days ago, he stepped on one in the yard and Oh my, you have never seen a dog act like he did. I thought his knees had gone out. he would try to walk and fall. I picked him up and he wouldn't let me straighten his paw, then when my hubby felt his paw pad he cried and cried. Together we got the benadrul down him this time. He finally got to where he could walk some then he got in his bed and went to sleep for a couple of hours. When he woke up, he was good as new. |

| Yes, Buddy got stung after having him for only 2wks. He was 3 1/2 months and I did not know he was stung until we got back in the house. When he looked up at me his eye was swollen and red above the eyelid. I called the vet immediately and he said to watch him and put ice on it. He just layed in his bed and let me put ice on it off and on for a couple of hrs. It went down with no after effects. Scary, hope you little one is fine by now. |

| Oh, yes! A long time ago I had a tiny chi get stung by a wasp on the side between her eyes and nose and the side of her little face was so swollen she looked like a little fox. Muffin got stung on the bottom of her paw by a bee in the grass. It didn't seem to be a full sting. Her little paw didn't swell any. This year Kacee got two stings on the inside tip of one of her ears. I didn't see it happen. I thought at the time that she had an ear infection. Her ear was so red inside, but you couldn't see the two round circles from the sting until much later. I believe it was a wasp sting, though. It really hurt her for quite awhile.

| Tatum hasn't been stung yet but our Aust. Shepherd, Stormie has a few times. She's such a ding-dong and loves to chase buzzing things but they've come back to get her. She shakes it off pretty quickly after licking and shaking it.
