| OMG, did not realize it was gonna cost that much . . .do you brush Rocco's teeth? I do that on Tiger daily but the last 2 weeks I have slacked off. Have been fighting this bronchitis so did not have the energy to do much with the babies. I better get back on track . . that is just way too expensive. Can you get a second opinion? |

| How about cleaning his teeth (and ears) yourself? Brush his teeth at least once a week, after a tiring bath and remove tartar and plaque every other week with a plastic dental pick from Walmart. If you cannot control him, show your strength, determination and superiority over him. After a while even the fiestiest Yorkies will succumb. Then make it into a consistent ritual and all will be good. |

| I haven't had a dental cleaning, but from what I understand from others it can range anywhere from $200 to $300. As anesthesia is required, there is usually pre-op blood work (generally around $80) and the anesthesia itself (usually around $50), plus the dental work. If you get the product Life for Teeth - you can just spray the mouth once a day and brush with the gel once a week to keep his teeth nice and clean. According to their testamonials, using the gel with brushing on a daily basis for 30 days, can take them from plaque and tartar filled to clean and white. At $40 for two bottles, which will last a long time, a major savings over yearly cleaning.

| bright and shiney teeth Just had Bella's teeth cleaned on Wednesday. She also had to have her two baby canine teeth pulled. The anesthesia alone was $80, bloodwork $40, and the cleaning was another $30. All totaled $150.

| My parents vet wanted $250 for a dental. I think my vet charges about $180.... Their offices are barely a mile apart! Call around, there's definitely price differences between vets! My parents ended up switching to my vet. They figured if a dental was cheaper there, everything else probably was too! |
