Dogs eating eggs Is it OK for a 15 week old puppy to eat scrammbled eggs?? I was eating some this morning and gave Georgia a few pieces and she loved them. She can be a picky eater sometimes so I was thinking about adding a little more to her dinner tonight. Is this ok? Can you safely feed them eggs everyday? Thanks in advance!

My three yorkies all get half a smashed up boiled egg with each meal. Twice a day. My vet okayed it and also the breeder/show-er that i got Silk from said she gives all her dogs that mixture. She named a hundred reasons why it is good for them so I just continued it because they all love it. I just smash them up in their wet food. I free feed dry food, too. None of them are much interested in it tho.

Never raw eggs and I would think a boiled egg would be better than scrambled because it doesn't have the milk and butter added. I just gave mine scrambled eggs (a 4 months old, 15 month old and a 3 year old) and they all had soft messy stools and vomiting. This is the first food reaction I've ever had. No more scrambled eggs for mine.

Eggs are a wonderful food for dogs. My dogs like them one day and not the next... I wouldn't give them a steady diet of eggs - but I think once or twice a week is fine. My daughter's dog has them every Sunday morning - when she and her husband fix that "big breakfast." Knowing them, their dog probably has everything else they have for breakfast that morning too. Everything in my house eats eggs - me, my dogs, my cats, and even my birds........ They're good for all of them. Good luck - Carol Jan
