| Need recs for quality tiny kibble puppy food My baby Yorkie, Riley, was sent home with tiny kibble puppy food, but it is not high quality, so I want to have him on something healthier. I have my adult Yorkie on Blue Buffalo kibble for adult toy dogs which is smaller kibble than the Blue Buffalo kibble dog food for puppies that I got Riley, but it is a challenge for him to eat as the pieces are pretty big. He doesn't seem to be a good eater anyway & I watch him closely. The pet store didn't have a Blue Buffalo for toy puppies. Can you recommend a high quality tiny kibble for puppies?

| I have my babies on Orijen for puppy. I was adding warm goats milk to theirs for a week because I got them at 8 weeks old. What I do now is I moisten the food with alittle water. They are are fine. Kibble is small .

| Hi. I have two tiny babies (4 pounds) and I use Solid Gold Wee Bit. They love it. Now that they are a bit older I do mix in some Solid Gold Barking at the Moon, but if you are looking for tiny kibble that is high quality try Solid Gold Wee Bit. The Wee Bits are made with Bison & Brown Rice with Pearled Barley. Just bought two bags yesterday! |

| What was the baby on? Unless it was absolutely trash, you would do real well to leave that baby on what she has been eating, until she is older, or you are going to joining the legions of people that ride that "Switching-Dog-Food-Merry-go-round". You are about to mess yourself up and end up having that little darling make you run an obstacle course busting your guts trying to find something that baby will eat!!! Did you get your baby from a reputable breeder? She will have her pups on a food that more than meets that pup's requirements, maybe not anything YOU would eat, but completely fine for that baby. If that puppy is eating her food fine, you would do well to leave it be...."if it aint broke, dont go fixin it....". |

| My breeder used kibble that is ok quality but not to my personal liking & she also had him on raw, which is very good I know. I did continue all of that but have been transitioning him over slowly as I want to use only kibble if possible. My Yorkie Lexi is on kibble as is my almost 15 y/o Shih Tzu. Even the breeder was having to hand feed him some but he is only 11 weeks/12 weeks this week. The pet stores here did not have the Holistic puppy tiny bit food I was considering, but they did carry the Orijen puppy. The kibble is still quite large compared to what he came home with, but it is pretty thin and, most importantly, Riley ate several pieces with gusto! We will transition to this. Thank you mvgp27! Thank you everyone for your replies. It is very much appreciated.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I feed raw and love it. But if you're looking for kibbles - then Natures Logic, Natures Variety, Solid Gold Wee Bits or Barking At The Moon, Wellness Core...

| Thank you for the suggestions. Do these all come in puppy formula?

| I feed my two Yorkies Royal Canine for Yorkies for thirteen years now. That is all they get besides a little cheesel. They are both healthy and each weigh 6 pounds. Seems to work for them. |

| So far, so good - Riley has shown more interest in the Orijen puppy food than anything else he was previously on. He certainly does not have the interest in food like my other 2 furkidz have. The others would eat until they popped I think. Lol I cannot free feed them - tried it & they became overweight. Thank you everyone for your input. It is sincerely appreciated.

| No, I am not familiar with farmina dog foods, but I will check it out. Riley appears to be doing very well on the Orijen puppy food, especially with his wild playful antics today! Lol I am very happy about that.
