| Yorkie Biting Foot??? My 1.5 yr old seems to be nibbling his right foot. It has happened for the last 3 days and he goes at it like he's trying to get at something. I checked it this morning while he was doing it and kinda saw a pinkish small bump. But I'm not sure if the bump was bc he was nibbling at it. I don't think it's fleas but not sure if perhaps it's a mosquito bite or what it can be. I can't take a pic bc he won't stay still. Has anyone experienced this with their yorkie? |

| It could be environmental allergies.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I kinda doubt this since w/ allergies, they don't really usually focus on just one foot. I'd be looking for irritation, a pricker of some sort, a bump/lump, look closely at the claw itself...

| Hi wylie's mom, I tried looking and couldn't really get a good look. There's a lot of hair and I kinda feel a small bump but then I'm not sure its just a bone on the top of his foot bc I also felt something kinda similar in his left foot. He's scheduled to see his vet tomorrow for yearly vaccinations so I'll ask her to check. Well let you know what she says. |

| Never give your hands. Redirect to a chew toy and if continues to bite hands and your feet just walk away and don't look at him. Also I would suggest enrolling him at petco for puppy training. It's not that expensive and they teach well |
