dripping wet nose I took my Binxie outside and his nose suddenly got wet and dripping what looks to be water and looks to be fromthe outside of his nose not inside . Why is this happening. It's never happened before today. I'm very worried about this.

What is the temperature outside vs inside? Could just be the temperature change. My Harlie's nose seems to run occasionally and I just asked the vet about it this week. She said as long as it's clear then it should be fine and not to worry about it. If it changes color or seems thicker, then it can be an issue. My older dog's nose will also run at times when he is running and playing hard. Could also be some sort of an allergy to something outside as well. Has it stopped? How is he acting since then?

Seems to have stopped now that we're inside. This is our first summer so I guess it'll be a new learning adventure. I haven't seen dogs do that before and it freaked me out. Last edited by BinxiesMomma; 06-26-2015 at 03:43 PM.

Harlie is my first Yorkie and the first toy breed I've ever had as well. I tend to freak out often myself.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hmmmm...do you think maybe he inhaled something into his nose, but then got it out...? Maybe irritating the nose temporarily...? I dunno...
