| what do you use to clean teeth? I read that you should brush their teeth a few times a week (at least). What kind of tooth paste or teeth cleaning chews do you use?? I want sparkle to have healthy teeth and mouth for as long as she lives. All feedback is appreciated |

| I like the FRESH BREATH products by Tropiclean. They have a water additive, minty smelling toothpaste/gel, and some yummy dental chews that my pups are crazy about. When they were kibble fed, I brushed their teeth every single night. Now that they're on raw, I do it every other night. And they always get one dental chew as a bed time snack. Diana |

| I do a mix of CET toothpaste and Tropiclean gel. Instead of a fingerbrush or doggie toothbrush, I made a "fingerbrush" using "infant bath wash cloth" that's 100% cotton. It feels like a gauze. I found both my furbutts are more "accepting" of this rather the other brushes. |

| About how long does it take to be able to get your puppies to let you brush their teeth? I have been brushing Duncan's teeth for almost 4 months and he still get excited and just wants to lick the toothpaste off of my finger and barely lets me brush his teeth. I have been brushing Elliot's teeth for 2 months and I still fight her every night to get into her mouth even though she licks all the toothpaste off my finger. I can't tell if I am getting their teeth brushed well enough to get the plaque off of their teeth.

| IME nothing is better then just plain brushing. It cleans there teeth and keeps their gums a healthy pink. I started Winnie when she was 14 weeks. Just let her chew on the brush. I use dog tooth paste. I started to just brush the tops..Letting her get use to the brush. A few seconds everyday. Adding more time and slowly brushing more. With treats after. Shes ~22weeks I can pretty much brush. But here teeth are coming in so I mainly just do here molars. Moki I did the same. He's 3 in May. I can brush aslong as I want moving his lips ect...Just everyday same thing. Routine is your friend. |

| Magnus, Do you mean that one time you use the CET and then another you use the Tropiclean gel or do you mean you put the CET and the Tropiclean together when you brush teeth?

| We brush their teeth every night with CET (using vanilla mint right now, but it's always been the poultry flavor before now) and a baby/toddler toothbrush. |

| We use CET toothpaste (her fave) and baby/toddler toothbrush cause regular doggie toothbrushes are very big for her. Since se ran out of CET we are using DDS toothpaste, it's not of her liking but it's okay til we find CET again.

| We like CET. We also use healthy mouth. I make up a solution and syringe it into their mouths after brushing. I use the tropiclean water additive.

| The human toothpaste mostly contains fluoride, but that is poisonous to the human toothpaste is not edible. The edible toothpaste is available in the pets care center.there are many flavors available, try to find out the dogs favorite. |
