| I tried it, but i was only able to get Lexi to eat it the first time and then she wouldn't even get near it. Right now i am trying something called Coprophagia Stool Eating Deterrent from Naturvet. It is supposed to take 3-4 weeks to start working and we just finished week 2 so not sure if it will work yet. The one thing I like about it is Lexi likes the taste and thinks it is a treat. I'm just hoping it works. |

| I bought that! I didn't stick with it for 3-4 weeks though! I thought it just didn't work. I've been doing the pineapple for a day so far. It made his poop perfect!I originally gave him the hand chopped ones from the store and he didn't like them...too big I guess. I bought the crushed ones in the can. It's like apple sauce. He loves it. Did you try the crushed ones in the can? |

Thanks for the tip about the crushed pineapple. I used the chunks so maybe they were too big. If the Naturvet stuff doesn't work maybe I will try the crushed pineapple and see if she will eat it. Good luck! | |

| Well. I was a little off. Today is actually 3 full weeks using the Naturvet stuff. I am cautiously optimistic. Yesterday, after pooping she turned around and sniffed it, but did NOT eat it! Then, this morning she pooped and came right back in without even sniffing it first! I have been giving Lexi half of a piece each day and my Shih Tzu the other half. My Tzu does not eat his poop, but I caught Lexi try to take a nibble of his a couple times so I wanted to make sure she didn't decide to start eating his. I'll keep you posted if this continues to work! |

| Hello! I'm having the same issue with my eldest one. I just purchased this thing called "dis-taste" from drsfostersmith.com and I also read to try to give pumpkin it should do the trick. I'm going to give it a try on the pumpkin until the dis-taste arrives. Good luck !!: |

| Pineapple didn't work for me so I tried S.E.P. from Solid Gold. That didn't work either. |

| While my Yorkie Cricket doesn't eat poop, my parents and I have a Bassett hound that eats poop, but NOT his own! We have just had to learn to pick up after gem after they go out...... It's not fun! But oh well...... The joys of being a dog owner! (insert sarcasm)

YT 500 Club Member | Sammie eats his poop and the cats. He finds the cats in the yard and digs it up and eats it. I can't keep my eye on him 24/7 so I can't get it out of his mouth fast enough. Last night he pooped in my family room and I ran to get a napkin and it was gone when I got back. Does anyone know why they do that? My bunny does it but they say bunnies should eat there poo because it gives them vitamins. |
