| she is carrying her toys... Buttons was spayed Friday and now is carrying around her "favorite" toys like she did before when she would have false pregnancies. Has anyone experienced their girl doing this after being spayed? She will carrying them and wiggles her tail and whines just a little bit. She seems confused but yet happy. Now I am confused

| It can take a couple of months after spay or neuter for all the hormones to get out of their systems....

| Both hormones and pain can cause this.

| Agree My guess is also that her hormones are still balancing out from the surgery. Unless she finds emotional comfort from carrying the toys around or it becomes a habit she will probably stop this soon. |

| I hope so cause it makes me feel bad for her..its like they are her babies and now she will never have real ones..She would do this also when she would have her false pregnancies. She has put several in her bed and is laying with them.
