| Annamaete Grain Free I was going to go with Great Life Grain Free for my Airedale Terrier but i have changed my mind due to the fact that the company provides poor customer service. Also i attempted thru several emails asking them where their food is manufactured and they would never respond. I did some research online and found that their manufacturer is "confidential". That sounds highly suspicious to me.. Although the food was rated 5 stars on dogfoodadvisor i decide to go with a different food. This is the food i am going with, Annamaet Grain Free. Never involved in any recalls, plant is in Pa. Annamaet Grain Free Petfood |

| I bought a bag of it the Grain & Potato free Wild Salmon, I emailed them, they did take a long time to get back to me, so I called them yesterday and asked them if it was appropriate for an 11 week old yorkie. He said yes it was an all stages food. The feed store where I bought it said they had a gal that used to work there that raised Yorkies and this is what she fed them with great results. I haven't gotten my little girl yet, bag is not opened, so I wanted to get some info before then. |

| I just looked back at their website, www.greatlife4pets.com, and looked under 'about us', and it says their plant is in Texas. And it even gives you the name of their lab that tests all the food..Midwest Labs.....it really doesn't look suspicious to me, and they have never had any recalls, also has some good testimonials. |

| yeah, i saw that too. i know they got good ratings . I myself just found it suspicious that they refused to answer any of my questions. It is does say their plant is in texas but the food when you order it online comes all the way from california. This is a totally personal decision. if you feel comfortable that is awesome. its just not for me... |

| Annamaete is made by Ohio Pet, I think. Great plant, IMO.

| i attempted to contact great life customer service again regarding where their food is manufactured. this time i got a quick response. great life pet food is manufactured at pied piper pet foods in midland , tx. great life buys production time , they have their own line. when their food is running no other pet food is produced. also great life uses their own employees to do inspecting & testing of their products. |

| It is funny that you posted this, because my local pet store gave me a sample of the encore 25 to try. I have requested samples of the grain free line as well. Levi has been scratching on the Now grain free. Looks like a great company.
