I'm just sick with worry for all the pets owner's out there who may not even know there is a a food recall. We are so lucky to be a part of YT and have all the wonderful caring people that we do on this great forum!

Help! I have been feeding Khloe chicken soup for the soul puppy formula. I still have the bag of innova puppy formula that I initially tried to switch her to which didn't work. Should I just stop immediately with chicken soup for the soul or just mix in it with the innova. I checked the production code and its not one that I have but I am not feeding my pup food from a manufacturer that has this much problems. My teenage daughter calls them the "killer company" and she didn't know that Khloe's food was made by diamond. I should have researched better. My groomer is closed this week on vacation and that's the only place that sells decent food. Khloe has been sneaking some of Kirby's adult innova without much incident so I am thinking about trying innova puppy formula again. I need some recommendations how to get Khloe off of chicken soup for the soul puppy food. Her tummy is so delicate but I rather runny poo than diamond products.

My first question would be is it one of the recalled lots?

I know I wouldn't feed it, even if it wasn't recalled. But that is just me. Pure coward all of the way through. I would get on the internet and order a few formulas from another company. I wish I could give you better advice. I can only tell you what I would do. Only you know your lil girl better than anyone else.

You aren't. Some can do it with no problems though. I can't switch mine without a gradual change. That is one reason I mix two different foods. Just in case of recalls.

I understand and I would do the same thing where she is eating just the one food. You know her best and I hope she'll do just fine with the switch.

I would but I live in a small town. I try to get food from the groomer or something i can buy from places about 45 miles away. No place near me sells Fromm. I tried mixing foods this morning, but I am going to find something to put in rotation for both my girls . This is troubling. I am scared and mad at these manufacturers. I wish I could just yank Khloe off that chicken soup for the soul but I have so much problem with her tummy. I started off switching her to innova and had major runny poo. I am back at innova again.

Thanks for keeping us updated. I called my vet and he said for me to take Khloe off the food immediately and no matter what production code to be safe. He suggested that I give Khloe pepto bismol to help with the stomach issues even before feeding her. I got the feeling that this recall is changing so much we really don't know. Maybe he was being overly cautious but I am going to do the cold turkey unfortunately.
