My furkids Donating Member | question on raw My Mom recently put her little Cali Beth on Stella and Chewy's freeze dried (raw) food...she doesn't wet it, she just crumbles it on her food....have any of you here heard anything about this product? good or bad? any recalls that you may had heard?..Cali is a VERY finicky little lady so when my Mom finds something she will eat she gives it to her...she is also feeding her holistic select... thank you guys!

| I think S&C is a nice brand, but the fat content is really high in their dehydrated formulas. Not sure that's the greatest. But I love their company and that they use Hydrostatic High Pressure (HHP) on their foods.

| Great product, if she is just getting some sprinkled on top of her food, it should be fine. Very High in fat like Brit mentioned. I give my 2 some dehydrated raw at lunchtime. It is also very high in fat but they only get a little and are doing well on it and LOVE IT! Viv

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I think S&C is great - I also use Primal, and Natures Variety. The freeze dried can be a great choice bc it's easy (no de-thawing), you can travel with it, and doggies seem to love it! I use the NV freeze dried if/when we have to travel and don't have access to a fridge. I hope it works for your Mom's kiddo.
