Owned by Bella & Tibbs Donating Member | Tibbers big day.....how much did you pay?? So my Tibbs goes in for the BIG SNIP next week and Im ok with that a tad worried but I know they will take good care of him...but I do have a question...when I went in this week to get there flea/heart-worm pill I ask Jen (our vet teak/my cousin in-law) how much it was gonna run me. When she said about 300$ I was shocked....I was wondering if this is what you guys pay?? I am getting his baby teeth out and a microchip but man it still seems like a lot of money... I'm not complaining kinda lol!!! But I was just wondering!

| You're getting a good deal. For only $300 with neuter, tooth extractions, and microchip, I'd have to wonder if bloodwork is being done and such.

| My vet will use blood results if they're less than 30 days old, not sure if that is standard.

| That sounds like a good deal, and is less than what I paid for pre-op bloodwork, spay and microchip (no teeth extractions needed). But I have a girl and believe spaying always costs more than neutering.

| If it has been more than 30 day's since the last blood work was done, my Vet always has it redone.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I payed 440 for Taycie's spay and puppy teeth extractions. This did not include bloodwork which was done 3 weeks before at her last puppy visit. I payed an additional 89 for that. I did however buy it in a package with a fecal so I did get a "discount."

Owned by Bella & Tibbs Donating Member | Yeah I do have a discount coupon where I take him, Bella and fluffy to there monthly visits to get their flea/ heart worm pill. I guess I was so use to helping the low income spay neuter clinic that charged 50 for dogs and 45 for cat's that I was a little shocked.

| My vet gave me the blood work as an "optional", but of course we took it. We had 7 baby teeth pulled, neutered, micro - chip and a case of special food (long story) for a little over $400.00. Hopefully your cousin in law is getting you a great deal?

I have a friend with 2 dogs, she used the clinic and paid a very low price for her spay/neuter. She also goes to Tractor Supply and gets what she needs for their annual shots. She has big dogs and I have a little dog. She feels comfortable doing what she does, and I leave my little dog into the care of a vet. Not saying she is wrong or I am right - just different views on our pets. One of her dogs did have a reaction to one of the shots she gave her and was sick for 2-3 days. A big dog may be able to tolerate that but I don't think these little guys can. I am just not going to chance anything, but again - that is me.

| I paid around $65 for Jackson's neuter alone. They also gave 5 days of pain meds. Four baby teeth pulled and microchip was about $30 extra. If I recall correctly. I went to a clinic. I love this place I found and trust them but in the future, I'd opt to do bloodwork first. Which I did not do.

| I paid $380 for a laser surgery. They did not remove any baby teeth (but want to recheck them again later) and he already had a microchip. They kept him overnight which broke my heart He was all over the place when I bought him home like nothing had happened. ETA: That price included bloodwork.
