| Nutro (weight management biscuits) I wanted to get some treats for Ian that were holistic and crunchy...I saw the Nutro ones at PetSmart and bought them. Before opening the box, I decided to check them out first with the experts...YT! I couldn't find anything thru my search on the biscuits, but Brister (Action Jackson's mom) gave a site on another thread which was scary... Nutro Consumer Affairs. If you google it, you will see what I mean. I just bought them this morning and will be returning them after work today. What do you recommend for a healthy treat (snack) that is crunchy? We have been giving him a few kibbles from his regular food (Wellnes) as a snack, but I wanted to give him a little variety.

| I highly recommend Yorkie Yummies. They're made by Cindy (YT member Chattiesmom) and they are terrific! They're very small, crunchy, healthy and tasty. Here's a link to her site FoxyPups - Yorkie Yummies - Yorkie treats. Bonny

| It's either silk or satin. I have to follow up with her when she gets back in town. Did you pay using paypal or credit card? I've never used paypal, but I guess it's safe.

| Patti, I don't know if there's a problem with the biscuits specifically. But Nutro food is known for causing the deaths of many, many dogs and cats. They are NOT a company I recommend supporting by buying their products.

| I use Gerber's Graduate Puffs... many many flavors to choose from and there's over 400 pieces in a container and they cost between $2-3 at WalMart. My pups were a bit slow to take to them but now they love them. They make flavors like Sweet Potato, Blueberry, Apple-cinnamon, Peach (Sapphire's fav), Banana and others, and mostly all natural. Plus, if you get hungry, you can eat them too! (also great for enticing the pups to want them!) Low calorie, no fat, and not enough nutritive value to mess up their regular diet.

| Mine too, but only the plain, original ones. A friend's pup got sick off the multigrain ones.

| I wouldn't trust Nutro as a company, ever : But yes, Fromm makes good biscuits, I believe Nature's Variety does too. Unfortunately, Jackson doesn't like Yorkie Yummies at all. Actually he likes very few things that are crunchy, lol!! So I don't have many recommendations.
