| Best Fruits for Treats? Just wondering what other YT members feed their dogs and which fruits are your dogs more partial to? |

| Sammy likes sliver of apple (no skin) and tiny pieces of carrot. Don't give dogs grapes, they are bad for them. |

| As the old song goes: Ben says.... I like to ate, ate, ate apples and banaynays.....That song will not get out of my head ever since a thread a few days ago on fruit for our pups. So, I had to share it so someone else will have it sounding around in their mind too.

| That is fantastic that little Cody loves apples! Cant wait to hear his first experiences with bananas, carrots, etc! Teddy was so skeptical of fruits, until he realized how great they were, now he comes barreling over when he sees anything fruit or veggie related. They even pick their own green beans in the garden and munch on lettuce. They graze like cattle in fact!

| mine love blueberries and apples...I do soak the blueberries in a light vinegar water, for about 10 minutes, if they're not organic, to get the pesticides off...They also go nuts over raw organic spincach leaves, and, of coure the incredible string beans...funny how some of my little boarders, not raised on "good" food, turn their little noses up to fruits and veges...Not wasted, 'though, mine all are happy to eat their share p.s...remember, NO raisins! |

| Well Cody did not care much for the carrots actually he played with it and did not eat any of it, but he really goes nuts for apples, now I know they should not replace food but was wondering if he ate too many would it affect his stool or upset his stomach? I know all dogs are different but for a puppy with a great appetite what would the recommended portions be on fruits and veggies? |

| Scarlett loves apples and bananas too! She can hear the banana being torn off the bunch or the sound of the peel being opened and she comes running. |
