| Runny Eyes... Well we have been feeding Roxie Acana for about a month or so now, and I have no compliants with the food, other than being a bit big for her to chew, her coat looks awesome, and good stools. But...she seems to have yucky running goopy eyes, she has always had some issues with eye boogers, but now it has went from eye boogers to runny eyes. It looks like shes crying, and I am beginning to question if it might be this food. Any ideas? Her eyes dont look infected, they are clear, except for her looking like shes crying, tear stains I guess you would call it. Thanks.

| If the drainage is clear, I wouldn't think it was the food. Perhaps allergies?

| Millie has the same problem. Clear and goopy around the eyes. Strands of her hair will be wet all the way down where the eyes are draining. It has been very frustrating so I know how you feel. Millie has very bad allergies, so I know that's it. BUT we can't figure out what type of allergy. We've switched her food (yesterday) so we will see if that makes a difference, but I'm leaning more towards allergens in the house. She is very small and is very close to the floor, so maybe dust, etc. I have bad allergies too (VERY BAD) and mine aren't bothering me at all, but then again, I'm not 5 inches off the ground! My husband steams the carpet but still no luck right now. Keeping the faith though! |
