| Raw Bones for Recreational and Dental Chewing. I wanted to get a couple of meat free and clean marrow bones or something for yorkies to chew on to clean their teeth. does anyone buy any of the brands in hollistic food stores to let their little ones chew on for awhile? i use antlers for this as well, but was hoping for beef marrow or something else. thanks, |

| They sell cleaned marrow bones that are filled with things like peanut butter at both Petsmart and Petco. They were really hard though and Franklin didn't really enjoy them. Your dogs might if they enjoy Antlerz though!

| Be careful with these - Daisy cracked a tooth last month on a marrow bone. I had to put off surgery while we battled an infection and have to take her to the vet dentist since she is high risk. Her little outing so far is at $800 and that is without more pre-anesthetic blood work along with the actual dentistry and extraction she will need. I was informed by the dentist that marrow and other animal bones are the biggest cause of cracked teeth aside from ice.
