| Yes, actually I believe most of us do give bites of fruits and vegee's as treats. I give carrots, zucchini, cucumbers, peaches, nectarines, watermelon, and beans. That being said, there is also a long list of food and plant items that are poisonous to our pups. I would suggest taking a lot at the link below as it gives a variety of poisonous items and their symptoms. Acreaturecomfort |

| My boy loves apple. I just give him a tiny bit so that he doesn't get an upset stomach. My vet said to be careful with any type of melon because if the weather is hot the melon can have bacteria and it would taste fine but make them sick. She said same advise is for humans too. Eat melons as soon as you cut them up. |

| Ziva likes green beans(cooked) and I make sure to have some ready. The raw carrots are a little rough on her stomach. She likes a bit of banana when I am eating one smashed on my finger , if it isn't too ripe. Picky! |

| Levi LOVES fruits and veggies. We've tried almost everything (except "unsafe" ones like grapes) and he really does like everything he has tried. His favorites include chopped carrots, apples (peeled, no seeds), green beans, melons, celery...I usually prefer to give him chopped fruits/veggies in place of store-bought treats.
