| teething question. So It's that time for Moto to go thru the teething stage. But I'm slightly worried. It looks like he has no teeth on the bottom between his to large pointy teeth. (someone help me with what they are called I swear its just a ruff morning here) Anyways. I can see them thru the skin. But they haven't made it thru yet. He's also extra nippy this week and ugh I'm truly at my whits end on that. He tried to chew a mole off my husbands back this AM. Talk about a rude wake up. And I got the yelling at not Moto. I know his mouths sore b/c he wont let me touch it w/o serious effort and I have been brushing his teeth almost daily since we got him. So should I be worried or at what point should I worry. My older JRT did not go thru this. I tried calling into our Vet. but the one I use is on vacation this whole week and the others don't do phone consults for dogs they haven't treated before. So far he's eating fine. But that may also be because I have started adding a blend of yogurt and cottage cheese to his food too. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Rhett did the same thing about 2 weeks ago- he lost both the uppers and a couple lower teeth in the space of a few days. The toothless grin was so cute. It was only a couple of days before the permanent teeth broke through. I added some soft food to his diet during that time and gave him a sock with crushed ice to chew on to help with the discomfort. |

| Kasha just did the same thing last week and the week before. She was crabby & nippy and when I looked in her mouth ... all the teeth in front of her K9s were gone as well as a few others. I think it took her about 5 days to poke through the teeth and now she's got big girl teeth! Feel lucky that he's eating! She didn't! I wet & froze a sock and let her chew on that which kept her from gnawing on me. Mostly. Good luck!
