| What Would You Do So I started feeding Apple & Buzz raw in the a.m. and acana kibble in the p.m...Apple loves it, and gobbles up the acana (1/4) cup looking for more...In fact, I may have to cut her back, because she looks like she's getting a little thick...However, Buzz ate it all, the first day, ate a couple of pieces, the second day, and now, flat refuses to eat any of it at all! I thought I'd wait it out, till he gave in, but it's been 5 days, and he's starting to lose weight (he didn't need to lose any, he was just right)...Basically, he's living on a raw feeding in the a.m. (1 1/2 oz.) of Stella & Chewies, and nothing else...I'm not even giving any treats, whatsoever, and I'm about to give in and start feeding him raw in the p.m. too, but it's so darn expensive, and I'm trying to cut back until my business grows and little more...What would you do? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hmmmmm...that little Stinker. What if you give both Raw and kibble at both meals? It is okay to do this - so, you could give less raw, and then add the kibble to cut costs.

| Thanks Ann...Hmm...see, I hadn't thought about that...That's why this is such a great board lol...Yes, I'm going to do that...I actually read, on one of the raw vendor's sites saying it was o.k. to mix kibble and raw...I saw, on here, someone post saying not to do it...But I think it would be o.k....I'm going to try that, this evening...Could be a plan for both Apple & Buzz |

I would try it...and if for some reason it doesn't work, then it doesn't work. But if it it his magic sweet spot, then yay !

| We are doing Primal raw & Fromm kibble & we mix it. Otherwise we would have the same situation! It works out great and they gobble it up!

| OMG'sh, He would NOT eat the kibble and raw mixed!!!! Man, what a stubborn little guy! I'm wondering if there's something in the Acana that he senses isn't right for him, or if he's just plain ol' onery!!! Now what? |
