| Homemade food or home-cooked diet I am looking for home-cooked diet strategies for yorkies. I found information for dogs in general - www.whole-dog-jornal.com. I would like to find information on feeding a puppy yorkie. I have a 5 months old baby girl Nikie. Since there are a growing number of people who believe home-made food is better than dry dog's food/cereal from the store, I try to add some people's food in my puppy's diet. But I am worried about making more harm, than benefit. Do you know where I can find info on home-cooked diet? Specifically for yorkie. Yorkie have so small stomach, they are different. |

| The recipes online (besides being unbalanced) are geared toward adult dogs. To get a homecooked recipe for a puppy that meets AAFCO guidelines, you would need to talk to a veterinary nutritionist.
