Donating YT 11K Club Member | Grooming With having 4 dogs of course it can get costly to take them to the groomers often But also I worry with who cuts their hair, if they can get hurt, hit, etc. I just don't want any of that to happen so I often groom them myself. I do the best I can but really am having trouble on how to cut the face, ears, etc. It always end up looking really 'off' lol Do you groom them at home, and where do you find info on how to do it?

| Hi Mizz- I do most of Jack's grooming at home. Just do a search on Youtube for yorkie grooming and several videos will pop up. Good luck!

| I haven't mastered it myself, but with 5 doggies I'll be working on it too til I get it right. Here are 2 links I copied recently that might help you: Yorkshire Terrier Club of America Grooming How to Groom a Yorkshire Terrier - Associated Content - associatedcontent.com

| No help from me but you might check with Layla's mom, Marci -marcello02 (something like that) - She started grooming Layla a few years back so Im sure she would have some great tips.

| I am not endorsing this place, have never been there... but I did recently hear about it... the guy will show you how to groom or give you tips on certain things if you just need a little help... it may be worth your money to get a little help once and then know what you are doing. | I do the regular maintenance but when it comes to really getting a cut, I bring mine to the groomer. Basically once a year or so. I'm just not real confident actually doing a cut.... |
