| Natural Flea Medicine Hello, Can anyone recommend any natural flea medicine? We have tried Frontline and one other flea medicine recommended by our vet, but every time we put it on Rockyi, he goes crazy and runs around the house and then gets depressed. He will hide in a corner and not want to interact. I would like to try something natural. Does anyone have recommendations? He stays inside mostly, but we do go to the doggie park and take walks daily. Thank you. |

| I used tree tea oil when Oliver had fleas last fall. I put a few drops in my hand, mixed it with shampoo and bathed him in it - left it on as long as he'd tolerate it. The smell sticks around for a while, but I didn't find it too overpowering at all, I actually kinda liked it. It really seemed to do the trick, after 3 baths he was flea free (the infestation was not bad at all thanks to his Sentinel heartworm meds keeping the life cycle at bay). I plan to bathe both dogs with it once a month as a preventative this year. I've also heard that peppermint and lavender oil is good for fleas, too. I know someone that does a drop of each in the bath and she's never had a flea problem with her 2 dogs.

| This may not be considered "natural" but Dawn Dishwashing liquid is supposed to be a flea killer. I've not had problems with fleas yet (crossing my fingers and my toes) but it's something to consider |
