| Rating? Nutro Ultra for Puppies I just bought Nutro Ultra for puppies. Does anyone know the rating on this? It's not on the sticky list. Winston has been on Blue Buffalo for puppies for month but hasn't really been eating it and picks out the Life Bites. I figured I'd try something new. |

| The guaranteed analysis, followed by the ingredient list are the important things. Rating really doesn't make a bit of difference because just one or two people (with sometimes no nutrition training) make up those charts. Please Google "Consumer Affairs Nutro" and then decide if you want to feed it from there. It is being blamed on illnesses and even death in hundreds of dogs.

| ^ Agree. IMO, there is not enough meat content in the food. There's some low quality fillers and some unidentified ingredients, as well as poultry fat and a few by-products. It's also not confirmed to be ethoxyquin free. Some of my personal foods I would feed... Acana, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Wellness, Orijen, Innova or Merrick. Jackson is picky and loves his NV Instinct and he also seems to like the Acana alot we tried. You can google them and find their official site, type in your zip code, and find a close store that sells the food.

| Homecooked, but I'm not recommending it.
