Donating YT 11K Club Member | Drooling when nauseous I have noticed that when I take Maggie out in the carrier, for say longer than 20 min. she gets nauseous and starts to drool. I think, me walking fast and her not knowing where she's going makes her dizzy? I asked the vet and she said some dogs do this when they are nauseous. But when I take her out and hold her in my arms she is fine..she only has done it when she's in the carrier. Anyone's dog do this? Will she outgrow it?

| maybe it's similiar to how humans get car sick...I only do if I'm in the back seat, not the front or when i drive. Good luck!

| When Maya was a puppy she would drool whenever we took her out because she got nervous. It would be worse in the car and she would usually throw up too. Now that she is a little older (2 yrs old) she is much better but she definitely will not go in a bag so I have to carry her. It helps her to feel more secure.

| Zeus did this when we first got him. Usually in the car and sometimes in his carrier. Now almost 15 months old he hasn't done this in a long time. He still gets nervous in the car but doesn't drool. |

| mine did this! I found out if I gave her a small snack and left open one of the vents so she could see out--she did great. For mine, it was motion plus empty stomach=puke. |
