| Probably because it was so wet last year. At the rate it's going this year, it will be a repeat...

| Yes, there has been a shortage. I thought that we were over that though. It's probably best to find somewhere that has it and stock up now in case there is a repeat...

| Almost 90% of the pumpkin crop was lost this year due to all the rain in the midwest. The farmers usually harvest in August but they could not get their harvesters into the mushy fields; and then what was left had to be plowed under due to heavy fungus. Hopefully this next year it will be better. Time to stock up! |

| I actually heard a Trader Joe's commercial on the radio that said their crops were not damaged by the floods so you could try there.

| Amazon sell Farmers Market Organic canned pumpkin. You can get a case (12 cans) for $28. If you have Amazon Prime, shipping is free (otherwise that might be expensive). I bought a case when I read about the pumpkin shortage. |

| We still have fields around here that have pumpkins laying in them. It was awful year for crops in the mid west. Farmers were picking corn in January in between snows. Not a good year for crops!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Yes we have a shortage in our area. I just used the pumpkin I had frozen last for Pixie last week when she was constipated. There is a dog at the shelter here that needs it evry day for his medical condition and they sent out an email asking if anyone had any to donate. I am going to look at the store today when I go.
