| Anyone try Fart Busters dog treats? I hate to embarrass poor Lulu, but the girl has gas!!! She is a picky eater so I feed her chicken and rice, steak, ground beef, lamb, etc. all home made. I supplement with Stella and Chewey's freeze dried lamb. So, as a result, she has gas after her meals. I found some treats today in my Dog Whisperer magazine today called Fart Busters at EntirelyPets Discount Pet meds Pet Supplies & Flea Medicine. Has anyone every tried them? They are supposed to contain some digestive enzymes to control gas but I wanted to check here first to see if anyone has purchased them. Thanks!

Thor's Human Donating Member | Ha, I see an adorable little dog looking out of your avatar very reproachfully. How could you spill the beans, so to speak?? I'm sure someone else will have better advice, but my thought would be that you should be able to control this with diet, without resorting to special treats. How are her stools generally? |

| I don't feed ground beef very often and it is the 95% lean kind. The steak I feed is also very lean (filet). She is eating more of the Stella and Chewey's lamb dinner lately which I would rather feed her because it has all the nutrition she needs. But she has been very picky since I got her when she was 5 months old. She would go days without eating and make herself sick. I discussed her diet with the vet and he said she is very healthy. She often has softer stools. Lulu is hanging her head in shame since I told her secret!

Digestive enzymes should help and google gassy foods and make sure you are not feeding any vegetables, etc on that list | |

I did talk to the vet about her diet because she has a very mild stage of luxating patella and the vet said she is at the perfect weight with her current diet. She is 6.4 lbs and he doesn't want her to get that much heavier and put that extra weight on her joints. But I have to think she must have a tummy ache with the gas she has. Sometimes when she is sitting with me and has her gassies, she turns around and looks at me like "Mommy what did YOU do?" Thanks for any advice you can give us!
