| Petzlife Gel VS Spray Which petzlife product works better for tartar? which product do you use? would it be better to use both of these products together? Polo has some tartar on his back teeth and besides brushing every night it does not seem to go away. do you guys use the Petzlife salmon or original? |

| The gel works faster than the spay because I think it's more concentrated, but it is much easier to apply using the spray. I have both types. For the gel, I use the original. |

| The Petzlife oral care products are the same, as far as ingredients and how they work. The salmon is just a different flavor. I personally haven't ever tried it. |

| currently we have been using the salmon flavor gel at night and in the morning the spray. They dont like either one but get over it quickly and tolerate both very well. We have only been using for 3 weeks so no big change in tarter build up yet.

| LOL, did anybody elses dog flip out when you sprayed their mouth? I gave Jackson one little squirt in the side of his mouth and he was like WTF and started rubbing his mouth against the floor freaking out! He HATES when I try to brush his teeth and he just turned one and I've only done it once. I really would like to start brushing weekly at least. But I figured the Petzlife would help us out since he hates brushing so much... yikes, didn't think one little squirt would be traumatizing!

| Here was my thread regarding the diff between gel and spray and salmon or regular. I guess salmon was originally for cats. I got the orig spray and had it for a few weeks. Sprayed on one spray per side two times a day. Her light yellow stains are gone. Dark tartar by her "double fang David Bowie tooth" is still there but much better. I love it. well worth the money I paid for it. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...-question.html Oh yeah, Nancy's input is in my thread if you wanna know what she said. She is very knowledgeable.

Anyway, my question is, am I being paranoid or what? I ordered some Petzlife oral gel from Ebay but I don't feel comfortable ordering something that I will be putting in my dog's mouth from someone I don't know anything about. I'd rather walk into a store and buy it. So, am I being paranoid and overly protective?

| I was told to use Leba III. It's a bit expensive but was recommended by my breeder. She has been a show exhibitor/breeder for 30 years. I just ordered my first bottle so I have no personal experience, but I trust my breeders advice. She swears by it.
