| TOTW and soft stool????? I think I have read on here before that some users of TOTW find thier dogs get soft stool. Is this correct? I am on our second bag, and both the girls love it, but I am find thier doo doo is softer. This is making our housebreaking issues horrible with the baby. |

| Bump ...I haven't fed TOTW so I don't have any personal expericence with it, but each dog is going to have different reactions to food changes. Last edited by AMD; 09-23-2009 at 08:05 AM. |

| Both of my guys love TOTW, the high prairie /buffalo. My Benjamin can only tolerate TOTW or Purina EN. So, the obvious choice is the TOTW for us. I have had soft stool probs with all the other brands I tried. They have several formulas, if they love the food you may try a diff protein. I sometimes add the pacific stream in. |

| Chicken Soup to TOTW I'm transitioning my 8 month-old from Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul to Taste of the Wild (High Prairie Canine Formula: Roasted Bison & Roasted Venison). The first day he had a loose stool but I gave him apple slices and haven't had a problem. Chicken Soup is a good food he just wasn't too excited about it. Now he picks the TOTW pieces out of the Chicken Soup. I have noticed that the odor of his stool is stronger than when he was eating Chicken Soup. I like the ingredients and price of TOTW, and everything I've read seems to be positive. Most of all he loves it. |

| We just switched to TOTW High Prarie formula too. My two love it and their poops haven't gotten any softer but they poop about three to four times a day where they used to poop twice a day. Poops are smaller, and I haven't noticed any difference in the odor.

| Mine have never had soft stools with TOTW. I am having to switch though because Lexi wont eat it and Bentley just picks at it now even changing the flavor.

| Thanks all. I decided to switch back to California Natural. She just seemed to feel better on it. I should've known better, Don't fix what ain't broke. right? Also, the more I reseach ethoxyquin which is in TOTW, I want to find a food which does not contain it? UGH...if only I thought about what I eat as much. |
