| Grass eating? I've heard many different reasons why dogs eat grass and would like to know more about it.

| The reasons I've heard.... Either because they are feeling sick to their stomach, so the grass can coat their stomach, or make them vomit. I've also heard they eat grass when they are thirsty because of the moisture in the grass. But really... I think some dogs just LIKE grass! Jackson will just graze on grass like a cow sometimes lol. He never throws up or acts sick or anything.

| I'm not sure why Calleigh eats grass. She seems to know I don't want her too. When she's playing she's swoop up some grass and runs away from me and eats it. She would eat more of it if I let her. It's annoying at times. I give her lettuce and she loves that. Maybe she thinks the lawn is her field of lettuce! Any thoughts anyone?

| It can't hurt them, so I let Jackson do it.

| Both my dogs do this!! Stormy just loves to eat grass, when we go on walks she likes to stop and have a snack of grass. She hasn't thrown any up, but one day she did get a little loose stool and I saw a piece in there. She still eats it, I try not to let her get too much but she is like a little cow lol |

| Calleigh did have too much grass one time and she did throw up. I only let her have grass in my yard where I know there are NO pesticides. That would be something for everyone to watch out for. People don't always put the little pesticide flags up. It could be very harmful to the "little cows." I feel lettuce is perhaps better for them. She loves that, in fact she's having some right now while I'm having my lunch.
