| Acupuncture My vet said Jasper ( my 7 year old) may have luxating patella, I don't want to put him thru surgery. We are going to see holistic vet for acupuncture. Is there anyone that has experienced this before? Happy, not happy? |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Unfortunately there are many people on this site who have dogs with Luxating Patellas. Some have had to have surgery and others have not. it depends on the grade of the knee and the symptoms of the dog. the holistic vet may be able to help with the acupuncture but if not you can get a joint supplement to help as well. My morgan has grade 3 in both knees. She is showing no signs so i am not pursuing surgery at this time.
