| I read to-day that citrus can be harmful to our furbaby. There's nothing Toto likes better than to have me feed him a clementine, but, according to this article citrus fruit can harm them, along with the usual grapes, raisins etc. He's also very fond of apples and tomatoes. Can someone advise me if this is correct. |

| Ive never seen anything that citrus could be harmful however the acid in it may upset their stomach if they have too much of it

| Oh, Puddin' loves fruit, too! We haven't tried her on citrus yet (out of season here), but she's crazy for bananas, mango, watermelon, nectarines and even pineapple! I've never heard of citrus being bad for dogs, tho...my old Peke back in California just loves oranges.

| Could you give a link to the article you read? I haven't heard that either. Thanks for the head's up.

| I just found this quote in an article I link to below. I didn’t know this. “Citrus fruits contain citric acid, limonin and oils. These have been linked to irritation and possibly even central nervous system depression dogs. (Of course, a single wedge of orange may only give your dog a stomach-ache.)” What Foods Can Harm Your Dog? - Associated Content

| Mine all love fruits too. Oranges, grapefruit, stawberries, apples, bananas, pineapple, melons whatever type of fruit that we have in the house they all get a little. Of course no grapes but all of the others they will eat. They get things like these as a little treat and they love it.
