| Charlie ate something dangerous The other day, he came running to me with something in his mouth. I took it out..It sort of scared me a little b/c it looks like skin (peach and feels like skin)..I threw it away and try to locate where he got it from. I couldn't find anything so i thought maybe the careless people in this family must have drop something on the floor. Usually, when they eat they always drop food on the floor/carpet and don't care about it. I always have to sweep the floor or vaccum after them. I didn't think much of it until today. I was vaccuming the hallway to the bathroom. I got close to the backdoor and saw the wall was peeling and moldy with mushroom like things growing out of it. it was the same thing that charlie was eating the other day. I am scared. I don't know how much he ate or if he ate any. I took out everything in his mouth. I try not to let him wonder around the house without being supervised but DH and his parents always yell at me for being overly protective of him. So I thought I let him roam around the house by himself and of course watch him from the distance. I didn't even see the mold and those mushroom looking like things by the back door. I just moved in with DH and his family. They have been living in this house for over 20 years and hardly clean it..so it is beyond even trying to clean it. I tried my best to clean things however can't get everything. Anyways, he seems fine right now but I am scared to death for him. Argh, I am so frustrated but DH keeps telling me I am overreacting and he is fine. I don't know what i will do if something happen to him. |

| Oh goodness I'm so sorry!! I can imagine that you are very scared. I worry all the time as well and my fiancee is constantly on me saying I worry to much and watch her too much, but we can't help it! I don't have any advice on this but probably would say I would look online for some information and perhaps call your vet and talk to him/her about it? I usually call and speak on the phone to the vet and see what he has to say. The other day we talked on the phone and thought it was one thing but turned out to be something else. |
