| meal time I am a new yorkie mom to Emmie. she is 6 months and i cannot get her on a eating schedule!!!!! I have class almost every morning of the week so i have about 2 hours to get emmie out and back in to eat while i get ready and then she has to go back in her crate so that i can go to class. but now whenever we get back in from going potty she just goes back to sleep without taking any bites, it is making me worried because i know that she doesnt get anything to eat until 1 in the afternoon. Please Help!!!!! |

| If she's not eating, you can try to mix some wet food with her dry kibble. Also before you leave for class, you can leave a small bowl of dry kibble in her crate so that she can eat whenever she's hungry. Also, if she hasn't touched any of her food for many hours, you might want to give her some Nutrical so that her blood sugar level won't drop too low. BTW, welcome to YT!

| why not "free feed" her? I free feed mine and they eat whenever they want to. |

| Mine was the same way, I ended up just feeding her with a fork, and she seemed to like that better anyway. And it gave me peace of mind, b/c i knew she was eating plus it only took like 5 minutes. And when you have to be to class in the morning, 5 minutes is GOOD!!!
