| developed skin rash overnight??? I have posted this on different threads but need to reach out to more people that might have had this problem. Tricksie, just all of a sudden started scratching like crazy and has a rash on her body that moves to different places. Have changed nothing in her diet or grooming products. Did find one flea but I brush her everyday and she is on Confortis for fleas. It is not shingles, the groomer was here today and said it was a rash. Started today giving her 1/4 teaspoon of childrens benadryl, twice a day. Put Neosporim on the rashes. She acts fine, eats, drinks lot of water. HELP, here is a pic.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That is a bad rash/skin irritation. It looks like a vet needs to look at it. I hope it goes away asap.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | If it moves around, it is likely hives. Diggy4's Bella had horrible hives for quite awhile and went through all kinds of stuff to get rid of them. Hives can get very severe, so please take her to the vet - you may need prescription level antihistamines depending on the severity.

| The rash is gone but she has little sores where she has scratched and I found one tiny flea inbedded in one. My groomer and I searched every inch of her skin and couldn't find any yesterday. Talked to the Vet and he said to give her 1/4 teas. of benedryl 2 times a day and put hydrocortison on them and if not better Mon. to bring her in. She acts fine other than scratching. She got a new toy today and forgot about the itch. She is making me crazy.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I had a yorkie many years ago that had a terrible allergy to flea bites so maybe that is what is happening. I hope the medicine helps soon.

| Awe little baby does have quite a rash there. Have you called the vet yet? As long as she doesn't seem sick I'd wait till your regular vet is in tomorrow. A little baby powder might help. It worked for Piper.

| She is so much better today. I treated her with benedryl and hydrocortisone, searched every inch of her body today, no rash and the sore spots are almost gone. No fleas either. She has her yearly check-up this week and time for the flea medicine, she has been on comfortis but maybe there is something new. Thanks for all of your thoughts.
