I'm so glad to hear there are others. My little Sophie gets them often and I wondered if it was normal. She has to be the first dog I have ever had that gets the hiccups. They are so tiny and cute.

I was so glad to hear about other Yorkies who hiccup. Only one of my puppies does and he is very small. I wonder if size has anything to do with it? The first time I noticed it, it really startled me.

hiccups are the strangest thing!! they're actually an evolutionary hold over from tadpoles - not making that up (biology major, scientific american aficionado)! lol. Neither of mine have but that is so funny/cute!!

My little Oliver gets them too all the time. He has the saddest look when he gets them. I just hold him and rub his chest until they go away (about a minute).

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Audrey-Belle gets them but not often. She had them just this morning, I saw her sitting in the sun in the back yard, and she bounced a little. That's what she does when she has them.

Both Buddy and Lilu get the hiccups every so often. It's so cute....and it usually happens after they've been playing and then get a drink of water...but they drink so fast they end up inhaling air...and thus the hiccups.
