| might be overreacting but weird peeing behavior i noticed this morning that charlie is peeing different. He used to squat when he pee. Now he doesn't do that anymore instead one leg is up. My husband said that i am overreacting but I don't think I am. I wonder if he is showing marking signs. He needs to be neuter. I want him neuter but husband don't want him to be. does your male yorkie do this? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | An unaltered male will mark, yes. As far as the leg, some males squat, some lift their legs - some do both. If you don't neuter him, the likelihood of him peeing all over the house could be much, much worse than if you neuter him. Why does your husband not want him altered?

Ahhhh, your baby is growing up!!!! I would definitley get him neutered. I am a big supporter of it for many reasons, but it would help with the marking. Wookie got fixed before he started raising his leg and he never started.

| I have to agree with you in getting him neutered. It can save you a lot of heartache. Why doesn't your hubby want him neutered? Maybe he should get on here, and read a little bit.
