| Mix In's ??? So, In my many, many, many hours of gathering informations about these fabulous lil' babies....I've read of many different (and often conflicting) options for mix in's the the dogs food. I've seen eggs, and extra virgin olive oil as an add in for a healthier, shinier coat (Is this true? Not unhealthy?) My mother in law mixes in pumpkin for her lab's dinner. (again....healthy?) I appreciate any in sight on this. |

| Welcome to Yorkietalk I give my little ones a few drops of pure Emu oil for coat condition. I also home cook so everything I feed would be considered a "mix in" by those who feed commercial dog foods. I believe in moderation. Eggs, olive oil, flax seed, cold pressed salmon oil, are all good for coat condition - just give in small portions and remember it may take months to see a difference. | I mix in a bit of canned pumpkin with Oliver's food. He was constipated and the vet suggested I do that and it worked! He seems to like it too!
