| Help! Spoiled Puppy!!! I just don't know how to get my puppy, Porkie, to eat kibble! He just doesn't seem to like it. At first he plays with it and runs it around the house and then he might eat a couple but that's it. I have tried to mix it with wet but then he won't eat at all. Right now I have him on Wellness for Puppy and have had the best results with it than any other. Any type of people food he will eat and I do give him chicken or hamburger with rice but I don't think its healthy for him all the time. It's beginning to be a nightmare at food times and I have been reduced to hand feeding him. Any advice would be appreciated.

| I wouldnt feed any table scraps at all if I were you. Hes smart, hes waiting and holding out for the yummy stuff! I say during meal times, put down the dry food for 15 minutes and if he doesnt eat, take it up until the next meal. If he doesnt eat then after 15 minutes, take it up until the next meal and so on. Eventually he will get hungry and eat. Its hard to do because you dont want your baby to be hunry, but in the long run if you can get him to accept his food, it will be much better for him. I have spoiled too many dogs in the past and it can be frustrating! |
