| Peeing around at seven! Do I need to worry? Chloe has never had any problem with potty training. There were rare times when she accidentally peed around but these last days it happened a bit more frequently. Last week she peed on the sofa while she was sleeping and when she woke up she did not seem to know she had pped on it, because usually when she pees somewhere she knows she has done something wrong and she disappeares. Both yesterday and today, instead of peeing in the yard she peed right on her way to the yard. Could there be a problem or is it just frequent accidents?

| How old is she? You may want to have her checked for UTI.

| Yes, I would have her checked by a vet. She could have a urinary tract infection, stones, or crystals.

| This happens to my 2 year old too. she pees on my bed or on the way outside if i dont let her out enough. I found that it helps if you take her out more frequently, i even wake up several times in the night just to let her out :/ She was doing soo good for awile and then this started to happen! -katie

| i also agree with the other posters that she may have an UTI. id take her to the vet, and make sure you are taking her out alot more frequently and try to get her to drink more water.

| Hi, I took Chloe to the vet and he told me she has peeing incontinence, it is something that happens to most spayed bitches like Valc said. Now I have started giving her medication, which she has to take for the next three months, but because we cought the problem at its start, she should get better after these three months. Thanks a lot!
