| I have booked.........Spayed??? I have booked Tink’s vet appointment to have her spayed, all four dew claws off and her to be chipped. She has this done in three weeks time, she will be 6mths–1 week then. She is a healthy little girl, 6lb 7oz. BUT….I am now worried that having all three done at once is too much for her. When your little girls have been spayed did they have other ‘jobs’ done at the same time? Thank you. From a worried Mummy!

| Aww poor little Tink, i think it would be better for them to have it all done at once so it is over and done with. When Bailey had his manhood off he was also chipped at the same time. Good luck tink bailey sends her some licks hehe!!

| Both of mine had teeth removed and microchipped when they went in to get spayed/neutered and they did really really well. If anything, it's best to get it all done in one shot so they don't have to be put under again later on! Don't worry, she'll do great!

| Thanks for the replies. aahhh hugs to London. TY Bailey x Your replies have put my mind at rest, I was worried they were doing too much at once. I never thought to say to the vet about checking her teeth, I will mention it when we take her. (for them to check them) I have not noticed any of her teeth falling out, (pr on the floor) just the gap between front and back teeth now are filled with teeth (if that makes sense) TY once again.

| Baxter is 5 months and last Friday he was neutered, chipped, and had front dew claws removed. I didn't know they could have 4, I thought they are just on the front. Honestly the dew claws have been the most trouble. He doesn't even flinch when you touch where the chip is. The neutering he licks occasionally. if I had to do it over again I think I would leave the dew claws alone. |

| Okay, I'm having a dilemma. I have an appt for Cassiopia at the beginning of July to have her spayed, teeth pulled, and microchipped. By July she will be 6 months old. Currently she's a little over 5 months and none of her baby teeth has fallen out yet (as far I know). So I spoke to another vet recently and she suggested that I wait until Cassi's adult teeth starts coming before pulling the baby teeth. So should I postpone the spay until the adult teeth comes in?? |
