| Primal Raw food I have been giving my yorkie, 4.5 lbs 3 chicken nuggets per meal twice a day. In the last couple of days he has developed areas of redness that look almost blistered and when I brush clumps of hair come out and the area is void of hair. Could this be caused by too much protein in the Primal diet? Jad |

| i rotate between Primal and NV. never had a problem..i think it could be something else..or maybe he is allergic to chicken. My little Tumi can't eat chicken much and so I usually feed lamb or venison.

| No, it wouldn't be from too much protein. I'd bet on an allergy to chicken or something else going on completely. I'd go to the vet for a skin scraping to see what it could be.
