| puppy wants big dog food! confused:Hello...I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or have any ideas if it is ok for my puppy to eat adult dog food?....He wants to eat my Jack Russells dog food and not his own puppy food...He will eat a few bites of his puppy food but seems to want the bigger bites of adult food...Is this okay or should I be concerned? Thanks, BearBear's Mmmy |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Puppy food has a higher protein content than adult food. Yorkies are prone to problems with high protein diets. A good quality adult food is fine. If I owned a large breed puppy...then I would feed puppy food.

He probably shouldn't eat it...just because the calorie content will be higher and he'll gain weight.
