| Rabies shot question? I got my yorkie from my grandpa who had an accidental litter because a friend of his passed away and he too in her female yorkie who was supposively spayed. Well she wasnt lol but she is now. Anyways hes kind of old fashioned and went to the feed store to buy all of the puppies shots. Dililah is now a little over 6 months old and I am looking to get her spayed but the vet requires she of had a licensed veterinarian to administer all shots expecailly rabies. I dont mind paying to get her the rabies shot again I just dont want her to be ODed on it. My question is will it hurt her to get the rabies shot twice because she only weighs like 3 pounds? |

| It's illegal to sell the rabies vaccine here in North Carolina to pet owners. Only vets can purchase and administer the vaccine so I'm sure your grandfather wasn't able to give her that shot. He probably just gave her the rest of her puppy shots. |
