| durrty eyes.... can anyone give me any suggestions/advice on cleaning Maggies eyes...i want to be able to do it on a daily basis but she totally flips when i go near her eyes.i have the eye pads from petsmart that clean them pretty quick &good when she lets me get near them.. thanks |

| I do this on a daily base, as they usually have tears in the fur if they don't have the eye winkers. I just use warm water and wash there eyes with my hands and then use a soft cloth. My dogs all don't mind they usually know its going to feel better after its done and they can see better. Just talk to them as you do it.

| I read on another thread someone gave the idea of using a baby toothbrush & she seemed to act a little better w/that than when I try & use a washcloth. |

| You know....I never thought that it might be their food that's causing their eyes to water, but now that I think about it, Hootie & Hobbs' eye NEVER watered until I changed their food. But Hobbs has allergies so my food options are limited. |
