| Question About Wellness Flavors I was going to order the Wellness variety pack of wet food at petfooddirect but I noticed two strange flavors: whitefish, and venison. Is it OK to feed Yorkies these 2 things? Does anyone else feed their Yorkies these 2 flavors? If so do they like it and have they had any side effects from it?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Both of these are GREAT for them. In fact, whenever my dogs get sick, I actually cook whitefish for them - as it is the easiest protein for them to digest. Venison is an excellent lean, clean meat! These are wonderful - top notch proteins!

| I have two dogs and one had an allergy to chicken and/or beef so we changed their diet to venison.

| Yes, whitefish and venison are great for our dogs. Each dog is an individual though and what works for most doesn't always work for all...some dogs are picky and won't like all protein sources, and some have allergies to certain protein sources. Most dogs tend to not be allergic to whitefish or venison though so they are especially great to try if your dog has food allergies. I fed Lacy the Wellness Fish & Sweet Potato before I switched her to raw a couple years ago. And with the raw I normally feed venison, lamb, or rabbit. I think variety of protein sources is so good for our babies

| I had no idea whitefish and venison were so healthy for them. I hope my dog likes them. He tends to be a little picky. We'll see.
