| Rain water I usually take Max for a long walk in the afternoon. Lately there has been a lot of rain and I've caught him several times taking drinks from puddles, etc. Will this hurt him? I guess it isn't good enough for him that I carry his distilled water on my fuel belt. LOL!

| Just make sure the puddles are not in roads or beside curbs or anywhere cars can go. |

| I would not let him drink rain water because it would be possible for him to get giardia. While the water may look clean, a bird could had drank from the puddle and pooped in the water and that could contaminate the water with giardia. |

| I would avoid it if possible. I'm sure most dogs will be fine but I'd avoid it if you can. He could pick up parasites, toxins, or other diseases if the water is contaminated.
