Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | ? about post neutering care Diggy had surgery last monday Jan 7. His stitches are all internal and the main incision is glued. The vet said no bath for 2 weeks..... He is SO dirty! it's driving me crazy!!!! everything looks completely healed no redness, lines, or sores. It seems to me keeping him clean would be important while he heals. How long did everyone wait after neuter to bathe?

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | its best to wait the full 14 days. cleanliness is important around the incision itself. this can be cleaned with a towel and warm water. this will not get the incision too wet but a bath will. you don't want to dissolve the glue or the stitches. only a few more days. you can hold out.
